Born & bred
within 5 miles of Bracken Ghyll. Whenever I'm on the course I
am
reminded of what a wonderful setting we have to play our golf. I joined
this friendly & welcoming club in 2000 & have got more
&
more involved. As Captain I hope to contribute to our
continued
progress. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss anything to

I joined
Bracken Ghyll 6 years ago. Since
then I have enjoyed the friendly welcoming ambience of The Club to the
full. Membership continues to grow & the course, with its
beautiful
views, although challenging, is a delight to play. The course is very
rarely closed in winter and offers a fulfilling golf
experience all year round .

I
moved to Addingham when I married Adrienne in 1970. I enjoyed the views
(now BGGC), blackberrying (now 17th), sledging down the (now) 16th
& 40 years later I have the honour to be president of this
lovely
lovely club. Adrienne & I joined in 1999 to the warm &
friendly
welcome that is extended to all members & visitors.

Many moons
ago, I was a junior member of a golf club but inevitably studies and
other activities had eventually to take priority. Now retired, BGGC has
given me enormous pleasure over the 2 years I have been a member. It
was my pleasure to accept the role of Seniors’ Captain; it gives me the
opportunity to give a little back to a fantastic club. |
