Joined Bracken
Ghyll in April 04, to take the game more seriously & reduce
the handicap! Married with twin teenage girls, but
still able to escape & find the time to devote to
this frustrating
game of ours. I’m looking forward to my year as Captain & working
with a dedicated team to improve BGGC even further. |

Local
girl born & raised in llkley. I've been married 40 years
to
Dave who I met whilst we were serving in the Royal Air Force. I have
taught fitness classes and coached netball for over 30 years. I took up
Golf at Bracken Ghyll in 1996 & I am proud & honoured
to be
Lady Captain for 2008.

A
member of BGGC for ten years I’ve been in the business of sport all my
life. Married to Chris, (a much better golfer than me!) I was an
international athlete and basketball referee & promote all
Harlem
Globetrotter shows in the UK. Currently Chief Executive of the World
Swimming Championships to be held in Manchester later this year.

I've been playing
golf for about six years, and joined Bracken Ghyll in Nov, 01. after a
slow start my handicap started to improve. I found a very good
atmosphere at the club & soon made friends .I won a monthly medal in
02' and runner up in a couple of other competitions, I became senior's
vice capt in 06/07 & seniors capt 07/08. |
