Challenging, enjoyable golf with breathtaking views
The Course is constantly praised by members and visitors for its superb condition, a tribute to the small but dedicated team of greens staff.
The short 17th "Quarry Hole" is Bracken Ghyll's signature hole. A par three 148 yards off the white tees demanding an accurate tee shot to a raised green flanked down the right by a stream that gathers many balls. It can be a card breaker at the end of your round.
The challenging 14th hole is stroke index 1, just under 500 yards par 4 off the white tees, and the approach to the green is guarded by a large tree on each side of the fairway.
The par 4 12th is dominated by the glorious presence of Beamsley Beacon down the left side with sensational views down the valley to Bolton Abbey when you reach the 13th tee.
Go to the Course Map for a detailed lay-out and photos of each of the 18 holes.
